Well, I am 1-1 versus the stumps.  Anyone know where I can get some dynamite?

Also, I am tired of my 5 year old 80 dollar chainsaw.  Recommendations?

You get you an 18" Sthil or even 24" and they never wear out. They will cut anything you want to cut. I used one till I got disabled and they are easy to sharpen too. RTR!

I was looking at the husqvarna 455 rancher.  I will look at the Stihl's.  They are a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for*.

You, sir, are on a roll.
No one can say you are lying down on the job.
You certainly seem to have all your ducks in a row.

I have the Stihl 029. Good saw. Huskies are good.

Happy Sunday Afternoon all!

We made it through the weekend camping. Of course it rained ALL day yesterday so my sister and I stayed inside and played WII. the guys (being all macho.. aka DUMB in my opinion) stayed outside until about 6:30pm.  It was rainy and windy.. made no sense to me. They came in and we watched "Faster". It was okay but not particularly my kind of movie.  A good "MAN" movie I guess.

Anyway - today is beautiful although COLD and windy as heck!  I'm happy to be home though.

Looks like everyone was busy while I was gone.. will take a while to catch up but I'll get started on it Smiley

I am going to Church for our evening Service so I will be back afterwards and catch-up I hope. The warmth in here feels so good. RTR!

"Good evening, all"

 Shocked
[Looks around in disbelief]

"Cool look on this new, fancy forum."

NICE.

The show as good, but my new Bama buddy wasn't there today.  He bailed after one day; I heard he had a family commitment.
Best new stories today were all knife sales; no purchases except an old Buck knife.  And I sold some silver dollars.

Note to General: S-T-I-H-L.  I've owned several, and my Stihl is dependable and hardy.  My bro-in-law just bought one too; said he'll never go back to Husqvnaravtsfaffsgah (whatever it is).  Stihl dealers are few, but the product is great.  I've had mine since 1991, have cut at least 200 trees, and keep myself in firewood every year.

I'll read some now...

No salt needed in pine stumps.  They don't grow back from the stump as some trees do.
