I work in a restaurant. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only two holidays I get.

Good Tuesday morning, errbody.  Sure feels like Monday after coming off yesterday's holiday.

Howdy folks.  Great weekend for me.  Mrs.  Nalt went up to Schuyler, VA for the weekend and Runt went to work for a neighbor on his farm on Friday.  That left James Edward and I to just ride around running errands.  Got plenty done too.  Yesterday the boys and I went and picked up Dad and took him to Odenville, AL to see the Tractor Man and his 40+ vintage tractors he has restored.  Dad really had a good time looking them over and then just sitting and talking with the old man.  The Tractor Man is 83 year young and Dad is 87 so they found they have a lot in common and enjoyed talking about it all.

Mrs. Nalt got home sometime early this morning but I was asleep.  Today is our 36th wedding anniversary but it doesn't look like we will be doing much celebrating at least for now.

Good day for me - after ten months of swim training (with a month lost a week after starting last year when my bicycle went sideways at 24 MPH) I finally swam a mile (1.2 actually) in one go. Total time of 49:44.

Starting point last year was 225 meters in 17:00 - most of the time spent clinging to the pool wall gasping for air.

Finally back online. I got my surgery done last Monday the 30th of August and then on Wednesday night I fell and crushed my right ankle and the pain is devastating. I didn't get to watch the game but my wife help me to the car and I listen what I could on the radio. I was hurting so bad by 3rd Quarter I had to go back to bed.
It sounds like a great team this year if we don't lose our concentration as the game goes on. You all have a Blessed time and I am doing a lot of praying. I go Thursday tomorrow to get my staples out of my back. I think I have about 40 staples. RTR!

I went to Regional Medical Center Hos. in Anniston, and they did great till they saw my back surgery and found out I was a VA patient and they paperwork me right out and did nothing. Notta and I mean nothing so when I go about my staples tomorrow I am going to the ER at VA and see what they can do. A friend of mine said they may have to re break it to fix. RTR!
