We have friends that live in Syracuse, NY that had five (5) dachshunds.  Mrs. Nalt told me early this morning that they had to put one of them down because it was really old and sick.  A couple of hours later another of their dogs just died.  At this point I'm not sure what happened to cause the 2nd dog's death.  I know that Cindy is really upset though...

Sorry to hear NALT. We use to have Shetlies and it killed Mrs Dottie and I when they passed on. Prayers for them. RTR!

Good Thanksgiving Eve to you all. Light rain in the area here this morning with a narrow band of heavy stuff coming this way, ahead of a cold front, so no golf today. I'll be granddog sitting instead.

Chech, Shenandoah Valley sounds like fun. Maybe get a chance to try out your new knives?

Actually I bought 3 more there.  Great day to be out in the Valley.  65 degrees and breezy.  Mountain views and everybody having fun.

Auburn has just retired War Eagle VII. I think Bama wore him out.

Happy Black Friday.  It'll be a black Friday for the idiot Ole Miss player who was penalized at game's end last night.  His penalty ended the game.  And you wonder why I retired from teaching those knuckleheads!  Poor Matt Luke now gets the wrath of a bad season, plus a loss due to stupidity.
 

Today right here in Charlottesville is the VA Tech vs UVA game.  This house is full of graduates of both.

Good morning folks.  Yesterday was a really nice one.  Had good food and then relaxed the rest of the day.  Well, I was in the garage working on building some cutting boards to give at Christmas.  Taking the youngest daughter back to school this morning early.  She is out of school all this week but has a job over there and she is on the schedule to work starting at 8:00 a.m. today. Welcome to adulthood...
