Good morning. 

I did mow the grass (finally) yesterday.  It was HOT.

Then a line of thundershowers rolled through at dark, and we got a bit of rain (0.25").  It rained hard in Memphis and around us, but not here.  Maybe today.

Heading west next week.  Thanks for asking, 2.  Can't say I'll miss the heat.

BTW, the road near Lincoln, Nebraska opened 2 days ago.  It had been closed due to flooding since early May.  And I heard the ESPN team predicting that the Huskers would win 6-7 games this year and be competitive.  Maybe I can fix that!   

I won't tell 'em you're coming. Maybe it will spare you the roadblock.

Yeah, that detour costs me 45 minutes more driving time.  I have to go through Omaha, which ain't no picnic. 

Last year the Huskers had game 1 cancelled, then lost the next 6.  I'm hoping for 7 straight this year!

Good morning folks.  2nd day back to work.  1st was pretty uneventful.  At least I was able to follow the Braves game cast.  2, I didn't know it was possible to work that hard.  Good luck with that...

Good Friday morning! Finally, the weekend cometh.

These agents are about to kill me this year. One of the things we all have to do for all carrier certifications, is a course called AHIP for Medicare. The test is particularly hard this year. Not only am I helping the usual dumba$$es, but I'm having our more intelligent agents coming to me for help also.

You have to make a 90 to pass, and you get 3 chances. If you fail 3 times, you cannot sell Medicare Advantage at all. I've had about 12 people who made an 88.


I need a break.

The problem is clear; making a 90 in golf is failure in your book, so their plight is in opposition to your true goals.

I watched football, NFL style, last night.  Nice to see its return.

Dental appointment today.  My favorite hygienist will torture me for an hour.

Good morning folks.  Nice morning here but rain supposed to arrive again this afternoon.  I have mowing to do so  I really need it to miss my dad's house.  Tomorrow we will be going to a ceremony for our town when they dedicate their new city flag.  Mrs. Nalt was commissioned to design it which she did this past winter.  I'm sure she will be recognized for her efforts.
