Well it is nice here this morning. Our friends funeral is going to be Saturday at FT. Payne, Al. but they are being cremated we found out yesterday that it was an electrical fire that killed them. Everybody needs to keep an eye on such things as wiring and fire alarms. I don't think they had any alarms in their house. Guys this is serious stuff. Everybody be safe today and be blessed. RTR!

Good morning, all.  Happy Hump Day, 2! 

I watched the Braves last night until they were ahead 11-0.  Final score was 12-7, so the Twins finally decided to play, I guess.  Braves remain 6 games ahead, because the Nats won too.

Good reminder from Ricky that everyone needs smoke detectors.  Sad story there in Ft Payne.

Guess I'll mow today.  It was just too hot yesterday (95 and up).  We need clouds!

Well my grass looked like a hay field so I had to mow it yesterday. Boy, was it hot! This morning I am going to weed eat and I'll be finished. I hope the guy who normally cuts my grass can get caught up. All the rain has really made it grow. Everybody have a blessed day and I bet it is HOT at practice right now. RTR!

I did mow the grass (finally) yesterday.  It was HOT.

Then a line of thundershowers rolled through at dark, and we got a bit of rain (0.25").  It rained hard in Memphis and around us, but not here.  Maybe today.

Heading west next week.  Thanks for asking, 2.  Can't say I'll miss the heat.

BTW, the road near Lincoln, Nebraska opened 2 days ago.  It had been closed due to flooding since early May.  And I heard the ESPN team predicting that the Huskers would win 6-7 games this year and be competitive.  Maybe I can fix that!
