SIRENS ARE BLASTING FOR THE 3RD TIME.

It's coming your way, NALT.  Hunker down, buddy.

Okay, computer finally back on.  Tornado threats started about 4:30, and lasted about an hour.

One tornado passed 10 miles north of us.  The little town of Abbeville, which has been hit 3 times in recent years, was in the crosshairs again.  No word yet if there was damage.  We have lots of friends there.

Another tornado apparently was south of town a while after the first one.  It was near Taylor, MS.  No word about it either.

We're good.

The sirens went off 4 different times.  I'm sure the students on campus were all awakened and sent into the basements.

Wow! Glad y'all weren't hit. Sounds like it was pretty bad up there. Welcome back!

Yeah, when we first got up there was already hail on the deck.  The sirens went off about a minute later.  I turned on the coffee pot before heading into the "CHECH CHAMBER of SECURITY" with LF.

Chech, looking at the radar, it looks like you are fixing to get round 2. Be safe. I'm headed out the door to play golf near Elberton, Ga. I'll catch up to y'all later.

Okay I’m in Oxford at a coffee shop. Power is off in part of town. There are at least two trees across roads in town. Lots of pine debris. No injuries reported.

Hey everyone.  So far so good up here.  Our first rain started about 5 minutes ago and was VERY hard for just a few seconds.  Still raining buy not hard now.  I'm glad that you are safe Chech.  Hopefully the storm is past you by now.  Keep an eye open on the weather Preacher.

Thanks guys.  Glad it's not bad for you guys yet; hope it's not.  We'd had just rain for the past 2 hours until 5 minutes ago; large clap of thunder and rumbles.  But radar looks okay, so maybe that was just a good-bye strike.  LF is going to a wedding this afternoon, so we all hope the bride gets a pretty afternoon.
