Glad to hear everybody is ok. Those were some really bad storms. If y'all were like me, my mind was going back to 2011. Don't want any more of those.

Chech and I fished a half day today. Chech did catch a pomp, however, I was shut out today. I got to be the photographer this time. Here's Chech in action:

Good morning.  

Ya know, it's a LONG drive from Pensacola to Oxford when you're tired.  But I finally got home about dark last night.  

Fun time, and thanks to 2 for hosting the Annual Pensacola CRS Fishing Tournament.  

We broke all the records this year:
1.  First time ever -- fish were actually caught.
2.  Biggest fish -- 2 caught a 15" pompano.
3.  Most fish caught -- 2 caught 2 (should change his name to 40   ).
4.  Best team-fishing duo -- 2 and Chech.
5.  Most different species of fish caught -- 1 (pompano).  
6.  Shortest stretch to first catch -- 0.8 hours (yesterday morning)

Good morning folks.  Chech, I'm glad that you and 2 were able to actually prove there are fish in the GOM finally...    Also glad that you made it home safely.  Did you have any storm damage from the other night?  2, when are you heading back up northeast?  It sure is cold here so I hope it is warmer down where Preacher and Mrs. Dottie live...

I found out yesterday that a co-worker is leaving.  I have asked for his job.  If I get it then I will be traveling a lot more than normal.  Where I currently might get a trip every 2 or 3 years, with this new job I'll be traveling 3-5 times each year and be gone for as much as 4-6 weeks at a time.  That sounds like a lot and it is.  However, this will also open up some good opportunities for myself and the family.  Keeping my fingers crossed...

I've got a knife show this weekend; last one I'm doing before my trip west for the summer.  I'll start packing for the show today.

Yeah, yesterday was some good stuff. JT and Speith both won their matches. Bubba also won, but Phil lost. The surprise of the day was DJ getting beat by Brent Weisberger. Who? 

Today's another day. My tee time today isn't until 11 AM, so I won't be joining the party til late.
