Thanks much, guys. We are currently In Kissimmee where it is 83 degrees. Lawd it’s wonderful. Will have dinner with my brother tonight and head to Vero tomorrow. Hope your gun show is going well, Chech. NALT, you haven’t been talking much about your shoulder lately. I hope that means it’s getting better. Preacher, I hope you and Mrs Dottie are doing well. HL, you’re doing a good job of keeping those hooligans straight over at the Woolly.

My shoulder doesn't hurt much except for when I am doing my stretches and exercises.  I still have quite the limitations of my range of motion though.  Struggling to regain that.  I just need to make sure that I don't trip or slip any more...

Everything is fine here. Enjoyed the warm spell today. Had a good day at the store I didn't go till 11:30 missed my appointment at VA I just wasn't able to drive so I have to go Monday morning to the cancer doctor. Mrs Dottie will make sure of this one.
Now I am ready for Spring practice to see who is going to step up and the rest of BB and BB and SB seasons. RTR!

Good morning!  Coffee

Hello Kissimmee, or Vero Beach, or whereever you are now, 2.     Enjoy the warmth.  We've got RAIN, lots of rain.

I enjoyed being at Tupelo yesterday.  Met some nice folks, including a Bama graduate and his family.  They're everywhere these days!

Preacher, time to get well.  Be sure to make your Monday appointment.  Hope Ms Dottie is better today, despite the cool and rain.

Good morning. Mrs 2 and I had dinner with my brother and his wife last night. It was a very good time under the circumstances. All of us will be heading to Vero today. Fixing to have breakfasts then shove off.

Chech, have another good day at the gun show. Next time we get together, I’ll have to show you the Ruger my father brought home from WWII. My brother who just passed away had it and when we visited my SIL last week, she gave it to me, along with the flag my father was given when he was discharged from the Army.

Preacher, I hope you have a better day.

Good morning folks.  Rain here too.  I hope you all have a good day.  2 will likely have the toughest of us all but just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.  You too Preacher. With the rain came the cancellation of the Mardi Gras parade in Huntsville.  Thankfully.  I'm hoping that I can have a nice, relaxing Saturday to do a whole lot of nothing...

A better life hopefully...  I decided last summer that I am getting too old to keep doing desktop support (climbing underneath user's desks and then having to get up off the floor) all the time.  So, after discussing it with Mrs. Nalt I decided to go back to school to get my Bachelor's in CIS with Networking so that I could hopefully transition to more of an Admin position.  I sent my transcripts from my Associate's degree from J.F. Drake State Technical College over to Athens State and after looking them over they decided that none of my credits would transfer which meant I would be starting over from ground zero.  I don't have it within me to start all over so I'm just going to try taking just the computer courses for now and hope my employer will recognize that much and give me a chance.

Well, good luck, sir!  Do you have any network certifications or plan to get any?  I'm not even sure which ones carry weight these days.

I don't have any...yet.  I want to take the networking courses that I can from Calhoun and Athens and go through the Cisco Academy at Drake.  I should be able to get Network+ certified before I finish all of those and after the academy hopefully I will be Cisco Certified Network Associate or perhaps even more.  I am currently taking "Introduction to Programming Concepts" which so far has been pretty easy.  I'm not sure if I want to take any actual programming courses or not at this point.  If I do though, I may be in need of some tutoring from you...  Wink

It's been a long time since I've done any real programming.  I wouldn't think you'd need that for networking, but it never hurts to be well-rounded.  It sounds like you're on a good path with the Network+ and Cisco routes.

Where are you living/working/hanging out these days?  Still in Huntsville?

I sold my house not too long ago and am in a bit of a transition period.  I will probably end up buying more of a townhouse type place closer to town, which is really what I wanted several years ago but couldn't really afford what I wanted.  I stay in Huntsville mostly during the week, but spend most weekends over in the Shoals.

Yeah, I feel like I remember you having family over that way, right?  Let's get together for lunch sometime.
