2 we really hate the pain and hurt your family has endured. Mrs Dottie and I will be lifting them in prayer daily. It is tough to lose someone but also worse if you can't mourn and get some closure. I am headed up to FT. Payne for a conference today so you all have some fun and be safe. RTR!

Thanks guys. Looks like we may be traveling into some winter weather tomorrow if we leave early. I think we'll wait a bit before shoving off.

Today will be a day with the fam. My grandson breaks my heart because he cries every time he thinks about me leaving. It will be doubly tough on him this time since Mrs 2 will be leaving also. He's really disappointed that I'm not going to watch the SB with him. Little does he know that I wouldn't watch it anyway. He's pulling for the Eagles, BTW.

I was reading up on Stewart Cink a little the other day.  I've always had an interest in his career because he spent his younger years in my neck of the woods, and I know several people who used to be close to him.

He played with his son in the PNC Father-Son tourney a few weeks ago, and he said his son had outdriven him on four holes in a row one round.  His son looked at him and said, "I may be playing as the son in this tournament, but right now I'm your Daddy!"

Good times.

I don't suppose anyone else just saw Eryk Anders suffer his first MMA loss.  Very questionable decision in his opponent's Brazilian hometown.

Tragic news this morning; trains collided near Columbia, SC.  At least 2 dead; 70 injured.
 

Didn't see the Eryk Anders match.  Sounds like a controversy.

Big day for the NFL:  SUPERBOWL.  LF and I are having our own party here at Chechville.  Anybody else having a party??

What, we actually won on the road in basketball??  Bama 68  Florida 50
 

GOLF:  Justin Thomas started the 3rd round of the Phoenix Open with 6 straight birdies, taking the lead.  He shot 30 on the front 9.  Then he totally melted down, giving back all of the shots.  He finished even par after a triple bogey on the 15th and a double on the 16th.

Freezing rain in Greenville, currently, but will be about 47 degrees by the time we get there, so should be ok by then.
