Good morning folks.  My wife and I are in Huntington, WV as of yesterday afternoon.  We have a good friend who passed away so we came up for his funeral which is later this morning.  He lost his 2+ year long battle with colon cancer this past Saturday evening.  Russell was a former Navy Seal that served in Vietnam.  Wonderful, unassuming, meek and very generous man he was... RIP Russell...

Very sorry to hear about your friend, NALT.  Pray

Are you in an area that was affected by the flooding?

No, Huntington is down close to the Ohio River and wasn't affected by flooding.  It seems like a really nice area too. Thanks all, for the prayers and good thoughts.

Thanks Chech, Russell was an incredible man and an even better husband, father and grandfather.  His family will miss him terribly.

We (or honestly, Mrs. Nalt) are packing now to head home.  Looks like the weather will be nice as we drive south too...

Very good! I looked up "War Eagle" in German. It is "Woossy Airpuken".

Have a great time, Chech!

Good morning everyone.  Chech, I wasn't aware that you were now touring Europe.  Did you take along your fly rod?

LOL. No; I took LF. The two aren't compatible.

We are near Remagen this morning. Think of the movie, 'The bridge at Remagen'. Lots of mountains and a narrow, swift Rhine. Beautiful.

Wish you all could see the scenes; castles and forest. Nice region.

Morning All. Coffee

I'm up much earlier than I usually am but Mrs. J had to make a trip to Iowa for a funeral and guess who has to tend the horses before I go to work.

I need some prayers for my BIL in Iowa who has been suffering from Melanoma cancer for about a year and a half. His condition has worsened as the cancer has spread to his liver which is not good news. I have plans to get him down here for his first Bama football game but due to his latest report it may be a stretch to make that happen. He loves Bama football and softball so just maybe God can put that into his plans for Larry before his final journey home.

Chech you are a traveling man!!! Mrs. J and I went to Germany for our granddaughter's birth many years ago and really enjoyed the trip. That was when I was first introduced to men and women using the same public bathrooms and yes I was shocked when the woman walked in there. My son, who was serving in the Army there, thought it was very funny as he never mentioned anything about who used the bathrooms.

Have a great day and hopefully we all will get some much needed rain today. Pray Cheesy

Prayers up for your BIL, J. Very sad to hear that. I really hope he can make a Bama football game. Safe travels to Mrs J.
