To Jamos and others traveling to Oxford:

There is a stretch of 6.5 miles along Hwy 6 of road work, and 1-lane traffic.  It's only 6.5 miles (right about where hwy 6 bypasses Pontotoc, MS).  Traffic there slows to 55 (65 otherwise).

I tell you at 5 AM this morning the bottom fell out here. Thunder and lightning big time. Wind was blowing extremely hard and the rain was coming on the porch almost up to the house walls. I see on FOX6 that we B'ham will be 47 in the morning and 41 Sunday morning. Out here in the country we are always about 4 to 5 degrees colder than B'ham. Guess frost will be here either in the morning or Sunday morning but no more grass cutting. RTR!

Jamos and 2Stater hit the road at 6AM, arriving in Oxford early this morning.  We'll head for The Grove by about 11:00.

It is a cool 45 degrees in Decatur this morning. It looks like a great day for football.

I just put a 4lb Boston Butt on the smoker.

You guys going to the game enjoy yourself and have a good time. I have never been to a Bama game at Ole Miss. I am going to put that on my bucket list.
