Danny Sheridan (on Finebaum) picked Ole Miss to win outright.

 Sad

This is just horrible, he's never been wrong. Huh?

Chaac told me that Danny Sheridan needs to hold up a 2-iron.

We've got a tornado watch tonight, and Chaac is predicting 2-4" of rain.

Today I saw a GameDay guy setting up a tent next to a storm drain on The Grove.  I pointed out the drain, and told him the entire area around it would be a pond overnight.  He thanked me and started moving everything closer to the stage.  True.

Tornado sirens in Oxford.  We're in the shelter.

 Pray

Morning edit: It must have been a frightening night for the thousands of football fans in travel trailers.  Sirens blasted at midnight, winds ripped at trees, and lightning lit up the skies of Oxford.  Wow, hope everybody is okay this morning.

Morning Chech and 2. Coffee

Chech, sounds like you got lot more of a storm than we did here at our place. The storm passed through here between 4 and 5 this morning but didn't pack the punch that you had at your place. Anyway, it is past us and there are better things to enjoy on the horizon, golf and Bama football in Oxford, Mississippi. By the way, I googled up the map to your place last night and they gave me the route going north, highway 43 to highway 78 instead of going through Columbus. We then get off on highway 9 to your place. ave you ever traveled that route? Time wise it is about the same distance per google, just doesn't have any towns to go through until you exit on to highway 9 in Mississippi.

2, we may have some showers pop up during the day but it doesn't seem to be too bad, our usual golfing weather. Drive safe and I'll see you at the clubhouse.

Oregon who???

Have a great day everyone. Pray Cheesy

That route certainly works.  I haven't driven it, but if it's the same in time required, take it.  Hwy 9 has been widened to 4 lanes.  That route you'd miss the Hwy 82 mess of 2-lanes, towns, etc.

BTW, there are no towns after hwy-9 exit either.  There is a WalMart and cheaper gas station on hwy 6 (after hwy-9 connects to hwy 6).  The exit for gas/WalMart is at hwy 15 exit off hwy 6 (about 7-10 miles west of intersection of hwy 9/ hwy 6).

I gave 2Stater details of the trip also.

Travel wise I think we're in good shape, now we need to win a football game. I hope the campus didn't have any storm damage.
