2300 yards?  That's roughly a mile and a quarter by quick estimation.   I'd hate to know I had to swim over about 100'.

Howdy folks.  Wifi is very spotty in Virginia so I wasn't able to watch. I did finally pick up the radio broadcast but didn't enjoy that very much.  Just not fond of the guy that is hopefully temporarily replacing Eli.

When I started swimming just under two years ago I had to stop and rest every 25 yards. Then 50. Then 100…

It’s been a long, slow battle. Then I got to my first race and panicked in the open water. Overcoming the anxiety was another battle.

I’ve finally gotten to where I almost kind of enjoy it.

Happy Hump Day indeed.  I saw that the Saturday's high temp forecast is 97F in Austin, TX.  I'm glad I'm not going to have to WATCH the game in that heat, much less play in it.  Sheesh.
