We used to call them "Ground Mullet", but the real name is Gulf Kingfish (Menticirrhus littoralis).  "Whiting" is another name used, but that name is usually reserved for a cold-water fish of the Atlantic.

I wish I had some of crawfish from the previous page.

Well, our launch attempt got scrubbed this morning after running into issues.   Hopefully they will be able make another go at it Friday.

Yeah, I saw that on TWC. I was disappointed but like you said, hopefully it will be a go on Friday. Apparently, there was an engine leak, if I heard them correctly. I had a couple of vehicles that suffered the same fate.

Hope everyone had a great Wednesday.

I woke up early and rode 54 miles on the bike from downtown Tuscaloosa up into Northport and Coker. Beautiful morning for a ride, it was just a little nerve-wracking when heavy fog came in for about 20 minutes.

Went to work and the boss offered me tickets to the game Saturday. Five years after coming back to the States, I'll finally get to take my wife and daughter to their first game at Bryant-Denny.
