Good morning folks.  Beautiful morning here, just really cold.  We are supposed to get a high temp of only 37 today...

I could handle the temp okay if the wind wasn't howling.  Saturday is 70 degrees and stormy.   Crazy North Alabama weather.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. Made it back safely even though the wind was howling and had an hour wait just this side of Atlanta.

Great to hear that the probe made a successful landing. Can’t wait to see pics.

First pic:

The lens is covered in debris from the landing, but that curvature is the horizon.  And there are rocks in the foreground.  Better pics once it unloads and sets up.

I don't see any pregnant cows with Awbren football players following close behind...  Huh?

I'm just glad that none of the Boog's football players didn't do that. Tua would have been running for his life all game long...

Good morning.  It's officially COLD.  Coffee

Good news yesterday from practice, with indications that we're as healthy as we've been (as a team) in a month.  Buggs practiced, though probably not at full strength.  And Terrell Lewis returned.  It'd be great if both of those players were 100%; lookout QBs!!

Went to an auction last night.  Nothing special there, but on the drive we saw an accident happen right in front of us.  It was just dark, and 5PM traffic was flying.  Suddenly I saw the car in front of me kick radically left and spin to a stop.  The woman driving had hit a car turning, sending it down a ravine, and she stopped broadside in the highway.  I swerved around her.  She must have been texting, and hit the car's rear HARD.  Lots of car pieces on the road.  Not sure about injuries.

Be safe out there!

One of our friends was behind us by 10 minutes.  He said an ambulance was soon there while he waited, and they were working on the woman in the broadside car.

Good morning, CRSers.  It was 20 degrees this morning when I first got into my car.  The wind isn't whipping as badly this morning, so it really doesn't feel any worse than the last few mornings when the temps were 10-15 degrees warmer.

I mentioned having a fever and sore throat Friday and Saturday.  Sunday I felt pretty good, just a little fatigued still.  Monday I felt great but thought I'd caught my first case of athlete's foot in several years.  I blamed the virus for weakening my immunity.  Not long after, I noticed a couple minor "burns" on my fingers, and assumed it was a Thanksgiving prep injury I'd forgotten about.  Nope.  My slow brain finally pieced it together, and with a little research I self-diagnosed Hand, Foot, and Mouth.  It's a pretty normal progression - fever then mouth/throat then hands/feet over the course of a few days.  Typically thought of as more of a small child's virus, I've been told that more adults have had it lately in this area.  Possibly it has evolved itself a little?
