Following the earthquake news in Anchorage, Alaska.  7.0 magnitude.  No buildings collapsed, but highways are damaged, homes damaged, roadways cracked...

We went out to eat with friends tonight.  It's windy and rainy, and now we have a TORNADO WATCH.  Yikes again!

Supposed to be really bad after midnight.

BTW, 2, I think I'm getting a sore throat.

We got some slow steady rain today but it never was bad.  Nothing right now but supposed to get rain all day tomorrow.  My brothers and I are going over to work on cleaning out Dad's barn tomorrow.  Mrs. Nalt went to visit with him last night and he was talking about meeting us over there to "help".  He was moved to a regular room today and the doc said he will most likely get to go home on Sunday.

The MIL's doc removed her tube from her nose today.  They started her out on just a liquid diet for a few days.  They also want her to get up and walk.  She isn't waiting on the nurses to get her up to go walk, she is either doing it with Mrs. Nalt or calling the nurses to take her.  When she does she really goes pretty fast.  The nurses are having to slow her down.  She seems really anxious to get well enough to go home.

Chech, you guys might want to sleep with one eye open watching the storm tonight...stay safe.

She sounds like me, NALT. When I had my colon surgery last year, I did the same thing. Haven't stopped walking since.

Chech, tomorrow, take two aspirin and call me Sunday morning. You don't need to go anywhere.

Good morning Bama folks.  It's GAMEDAY!  Hopefully this time tomorrow morning we'll all be celebrating another SEC championship season.

It rained all night but it was a slow steady rain.  Supposed to rain all day today too. At least my brothers and I will be working INSIDE of Dad's barn...

The bad storms never hit us last night.  They went through Memphis, and another line is SW of us near Clarksdale this morning. 

We had over 2" of rain yesterday and last night.

Sad to hear about GW Bush. I didn't always agree with his politics, but he was a good man.

It rained on and off all day yesterday, and the steady stuff that hit y'all is just about here. Will rain all day and all night. Good thing there's football on all day to keep me occupied.

Dad told me this evening (during halftime because I WILL NOT talk to anyone on the phone during Bama games while the game is current) that he will be going home tomorrow.  Really happy about that.  Also, Mrs. Nalt said that her mother was given solid food tonight for the first time since her surgery.  That is definitely a step in the right direction for her.
