I took the youngest boy to the doc this morning 1st thing.  He has strep so he can't go back to school until Monday.  Timing is a wonderful thing when it works for you.  While standing at the pharmacy waiting on his meds Mrs. Nalt called with an update on her mother.  The tumor was larger than they expected.  It was also attached to the abdominal wall and touching her liver.  Doc is pretty confident that he got it all (but they always say that).  He also said her lymph nodes are cancerous.  Stage 3 is where he slotted her.  Hospital stay for a few days then chemo in 4-6 weeks.

I haven't had a chance to find out how Dad is doing today but I'm sure no news is good news.  I did email my boss and his boss telling them about Dad, MIL and now James and that I will be out the rest of this week and will need to work some short days (coming in late and going home early) next week until MIL gets to go home.  Maybe they won't fire me... if they do, their loss...

Thanks to you all for your thoughts, prayers and comments.

Hoping and praying for the best with your MIL, NALT.  Pray

Good morning.  Coffee

We've got heavy rain and 64 degrees.  STORMY all day today.

Hoping NALT has a better day today, Ricky feels better, and 2 gets out of the office.

ONE DAY BEFORE THE SECCG.

Good morning folks.  Thank you Chech, I think today will be somewhat better.  Dad will most likely get to go home today.  He has been doing really good since getting the stint put in so that is truly a blessing for which we are all thankful.  Mrs. Nalt came home this morning at 2:00 a.m. and came to bed.  I got her up, per her instructions, at 5:00 a.m. so she can get a shower and back to the hospital for when her mom's doctor comes in.  She wants to be there so that she can hear what he has to say.  Otherwise, her mom will very likely not tell her.  Mrs. Nalt also told me this morning that her favorite outside cat died overnight.  It was over 17 y/o at least and strayed up about that many years ago and just decided it was home so he stayed.  Hopefully the rain will hold off until I can get the thing buried...

Hope you all have a great day.  I also hope that Preacher is better today...

Sounds awful, NALT.  Prayers for all involved.

Maybe today will be better.  I just posted about a new commit in the RECRUITING thread.

Sounds like the hits just keep on coming, NALT. Really sorry, buddy.

My little complaint is nothing compared to yours, but the temp crown I had put in Tuesday, broke in half last night, so I’m going back to the dentist this morning to get that fixed. Otherwise, no complaints.

Oh wow, sorry about the crown 2.  I know those temps can be extremely fragile.  You must have been eating some apple sauce or Jello pudding, huh?  The good thing though is that they can make you a new temp pretty fast since they already have the impression needed... How long until you get the permanent one? I recently had to replace one of my crowns that broke and it took a week for the permanent one to be made...

It’ll be ready Thursday, NALT. Once they put that in, I’m done until it’s time for the next cleaning.

You guys are young.  I've matured beyond broken crowns to implants.
Get your wallets ready.

I have an implant as well. They put those in when you don’t have enough tooth structure for a crown. BTW, neither are cheap.

No implants for me...yet.  My crowns were both put in with very little to hold them.  The dentist just built up the tooth so that it did have something to hold the crown...

I'm telling you guys, I went through that.  It's a progression...

Well the thick stuff is coming up now. Maybe it is breaking lose hope the Lord sees fit before Sunday. Here is hoping you all have a Blessed day. Somebody told me something I hadn't thought about: Jesus loves you whether you believe it or not that don't make it false. I was wowed by that. RTR!
