Made it to SC. As I was on my way out the door this morning, I happened to look down in the flower bed and saw water coming from under the house. We had a water main break and Mrs 2 called a plumber, who came and fixed it. The pool people won't be there until tomorrow to check on the pump. Seems like every time I leave town, something happens.

I had a nice treat yesterday. I took my son and his friend to Denny Chimes for his friend to see all of the team captain names. He is from New Hampshire and loves Bama football as he and my son drove down for A Day. There were three folks there when we arrived looking at the names as well measuring their hand and foot sizes to the imprints and they spoke to us and then came over and shook our hands. The three were Coach Napier, Calvin Ridley, and a high school recruit and I can't remember his name. I recognized Coach Napier as a coach at first but could remember his name. I looked down and we were standing next to Siran Stacy's name and I told them that he was an old friend of mine and how he had lost almost all of his family to a drunk driver and Ridley and the recruit just stared at me and shook their heads. They each wanted to know how the wreck happened and that really got their attention. They shook our hands again and thanked us for stopping and chatting with them and I was very impressed with their courtesy to take the time to share some conversation.

Needless to say, my son and friend have some Bama talk to take back to New Hampshire and share it with their Bama fans up there.

Good story, Jamos.  You are indeed the #1 ambassador of Alabama football. 

The Houston flood is drifting eastward, and we start getting some of its rain today.  Not expecting floods, but looks like a washout on Thursday.  This Saturday looks beautiful, and that's when Oxford celebrates its biggest festival of the year: The Double-Decker Arts Festival.  Lots of arts, crafts, music, and fun.

I'm in Greenville, SC where the temps will be in the 80's all week. Got a webinar meeting this morning then golf this afternoon. I like trips where I can mix business with pleasure!

Well I am glad to see everybody having a great time today. I hope your joy is full. We started Revival last night at Calvary Baptist in Heflin, Al. and it was great. I won't get to be here tomorrow cause I have to go to an appointment at the VA Hospital in Birmingham and it is an all day thing when that happens. So yall behave,,,ooppss I know that ain't no fun so yall have fun and just try to behave.  , RTR!

Glad you enjoyed the revival, Preacher.  While in Tuscaloosa we walked past Calvary Baptist (near the stadium).  I went to church there with a girlfriend until she accepted the call to the altar and confessed.  I got an ugly look from the minister.  That was my last day in that church! 
 

I met sweet Maria the next day!!
