Saturday night living in the country. I am watching "Cleopatra" from 1963 with Elizabeth Taylor. The cinematography is great. RTR!

Well, the festival was lots of fun.  The music wasn't especially to my taste, but much of the crowd liked it.  We watched for a while, then went back to our lawn chairs and relaxed with friends.  Excellent and relaxing day.

Preacher, don't tease those fire ants!  And watch out for those neighbor ladies; you without a shirt and all!!

Glad you had a great day, Chech, even if the music wasn't top notch. I played golf today and even though I was dog tired, I played fairly well. A long nap afterwards helped tremendously.  Smiley

Morning All!! Coffee

As I read the posts from yesterday I realize what a beautiful day it was to everyone. Preacher was outside without his shirt doing a flexjob with his muscles, Chech and LF attended a festival with lots of friends, 2 played golf and played well and Mrs. J and I attended the Bama softball game and got a big win on Alumni Day capped with a big tailgate party. We got to meet and chat with some of the girls parents and grand parents along with seeing past players that dated back to when their softball program began in 1996. What a treat that was and it's so wonderful to see the softball program following just grow and grow and grow. It's a shame the University of Alabama can't find the money to complete their softball stadium as they found the money to build a practically empty baseball stadium.

Anyway, it was good to see everyone outside enjoying Gods gift of a beautiful Spring day, something we haven't seen much of this year. Hope everyone has some more plans again today to get outside and enjoy the warm dry air today while it lasts. Mrs. J and I will again be at the softball complex watching the ladies beat Kentucky again, wish all of you could join us.  Pray Cheesy

Glad you got some golf in, 2.  And a nap?  Nice.

The best music, by far, was by a 17-year-old talent named "Kingfish" (actually: Christone Ingram of Clarksdale, MS).  He has the talent of BB King, and the weight of John Candy.  Among other things, he played the "Stars Spangled Banner".  Incredible with a guitar!!
Here he is on YouTube at age 14:

Very talented kid. I wonder what his guitar's name is?

Like J, I'm glad everybody had a good time outdoors yesterday. I will try my luck at golf once more. Way too beautiful to stay inside.
