I just got some good news from my youngest granddaughter that lives in Collierville, Tenn. She is a sophomore in high school this year and just took her ACT for the second time. She scored a 29 last year and just got her new score of 32. She says she will take it again to try and improve it again. She said she would study the next time and try to get a 34 or better.

She sure doesn't get any of this from her Grandpa, I have a hard time spelling ACT.  Smiley

Raining here AGAIN!  More tonight and tomorrow.  Nothing severe, supposedly.

The baseball team won last night against Troy.  Woot!  They've got a streak going. 

Houston still flooded, and more rain there today.  Ugh!  The photos are unbelievable.  Not just flooded along rivers; whole subdivisions under water.

Well, my woes continue. The AC had gone out in my car and the temps are in the high 80's here. Will it never end?  Banging your head against the wall.

Well Mrs Dottie and I just got home from the VA Hospital in Birmingham. The DR. was 1 1/2 hours late on my appointment and being a diabetic I hadn't eaten since 8 AM and I like to have gotten in a mess. My dear wife had to run get me a Coke and pack of Chips then about 30 minutes later the nurse decided I might need a sack lunch since I was getting sick. Lord, forgive me but the VA almost got me upset today. Home now and all is very well thank the Lord. RTR!

Glad you're ok Preacher. The VA is obviously very understaffed. They should have taken better stock of the situation that you are diabetic. Anyway, glad you're home!

Well, looks like Preacher survived his visit to the VA and 2's AC had a miraculous healing.  I'm sure we'd all rather have Preacher healed first, but that's the way it worked out today.  Maybe tomorrow!
