Because keeping the athletes on the straight and narrow is such a crucial element of success, I would have to agree that this is a one strike and you're out situation. You can't expect players to follow the rules if the coaches don't. I hope her gets another opportunity and does not squander it like he has this one.

They are probably being protected from random urine tests since this would open every teacher on campus to the same scrutiny.

Yeah,and I know a certain chemistry professor who would fail big time...and most like most of the Arts and Sciences profs as well....maybe some of the Education profs.

I could be wrong but I think the coaches fall under the NCAA rules and sanctions the same as the players. Student on campus arn"t tested for drugs but athletes are.
