The SEC regular season title is all Alabama's.

The No. 3 Crimson Tide made sure it wouldn't have to share its third consecutive title with Florida or Tennessee with Sunday's 5-3 victory against the No. 7 Gators at Rhoads Stadium. The win gave Alabama its fourth SEC championship in program history and marked its first three-game series victory over the Gators since 2008.

Alabama, as the No. 1 seed, will face Mississippi State in Thursday's first round of the SEC Tournament. All games during the three-day tournament will be played at Rhoads Stadium.

What a great feeling it was when Florida made their last out today. Jackie Traina's right arm has to be about 4 inches longer now after what she did this weekend but she had a lot of support after Friday night, offensively and defensively.

There was something that happened at the start of the game today that I though was about as classy as you can get. Bama was going to present all of their seniors on the team, players and managers with flowers and recognition today but the first player to be recognized and given flowers was Michelle Moultrie of Florida. I think it caught her by surprise but she and the Florida team were very gracious of Bama doing this.

It was a wonderful day at the ballpark, capping off a great regular season for the Tide ladies. Roll Tide!!
