An amzing collapse by the Braves. First, their clutch hitting disapperad and now the pitching has evaporated. Amazing.

I know it is early but going from a .5 game ahead to 3 games back and be tied with the Marlins just really shocks me. I thought their hitting and pitching was coming around with some help needed on defense, but wow. It has went south big time. RTR!

The Braves lost their 8th straight game today, 8-2. This is the third blow-out loss in a row, plus Chipper is out with a "bruised" leg. The thing that worries me the most is the pitching falling apart. Pitching is a mandatory requirement to be a contender and I wonder if Gonzalez is handling it properly. I think last year he over-worked the relief pitching, which caught up to them in September.

I am so glad they won. I went to bed early and it was 4-0 then. I thought we had one finally but meds made me sleep. Now we have the streak broke maybe we can get back in the race again. Go Braves Please. RTR!

Man am I proud of the Cardinals. If it wasn't for them thew Braves would be in trouble. 10-7 was a tight game to me and when Kimbrel pitched good and that error by the ShortStop put one man on in the 9th. I thought Oh No here we go again. Sory braves I was wrong. RTR!

Dodgers have lost three 1-run games in a row to the lowly Brew Crew.  If feel y'alls pain about missing Chipper.  We just got Matt Kemp back off the 15-day DL and he messed up his hammy in the 1st inning scoring from 1st on a double.  He was 5-7 with 2HRs and 5RBI in his two "rehab" starts...now he's back on the DL.

Don't look now, but the Braves have won 5 in a row and are only 1 game behind the Nats. They beat Toronto 4-3 in 10 innings last night.

To me, this is the biggest story in baseball so far. This use to be a fearsome hitting team with great starting pitching and a favorite to win the World Series this year.

Phillies manager Charlie Manuel provided the best sound bite of the 2012 season yesterday afternoon when he said no one is afraid of the Phillies.

He isn’t kidding. Not only do the Phillies not play with swagger anymore, but they expect to lose. That has been the theme of the season so far.

After watching them play lousy for most of this season, it wasn’t surprising they took an 8-3 loss to the Dodgers after blowing a 3-1 lead in the sixth inning yesterday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park. They were swept, too.
