TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Alabama junior Jennifer Kirby was selected as the Golfweek and Golf World National Player of the Week both publications announced Tuesday. These accolades come after Kirby secured her first career individual victory this past weekend at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic.
The field at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic featured 18 teams, including six from the Southeastern Conference. Kirby's play also helped lead the Crimson Tide to the overall team title this weekend, the third victory of the year for second-ranked Alabama.
