Another SEC National Champion.

Kentucky dominated most of the game.  Kansas never had the lead beyond the first few minutes, although Kansas did cut into Kentucky's double digit lead in the second half to make a game of it at the end.

I have to say  that UK was relentless in this tourney in every game. They just kept coming and coming and never let up. Outstanding job by the team & coach.

I wonder how many years the SEC has won the football and basketball NCs in the same year?

I thought the refs had swallowed their whisles in the first half, there was some very rough play underneath the basket. Huh?

True; that likely favored UK, even though KU got in some whacks.

Congratulations to the Big Blue.  Lots of Kentucky fans here in middle Tennessee.  Most of them behave themselves as show a little class.  Unlike other teams which are popular in this area.  Wink

I'm confused, who could you be referring to?  Huh?  Wink

Congrats to Big Blue. SEC is two for two so far in the major championships.

I say Kentucky was from the start and I also think they will start #1 next year could/should win it all again. RTR!

Congrats to UK. I am an old guy, so I remember the night (1964) at Foster when the UK team came to whip us and they had their All-American, Cotton Nash.  Our little bama boys whipped them but good...as I remember it was televised campus wide..first time ever.

I think Cotton scored his lowest total of the year that night.

My HS coach at Gadsden High used to show us films of UK games to teach us how to pass, pass, pass, and not to dribble until was a last resort.

Alas, the game is  not the same as I knew it..no blood, no foul...palming the ball is common, traveling is now a min. of 4 steps, hands all over each other, no foul.
I don't watch it much these days.
