Now it's down to the nitty gritty, the way we make our name known, the Bama D

DL - whew this will take a while LoL, we are BY FAR AND AWAY the deepest of any team in the country at DL even with us losing the likely #1 pick if not top 5 in this years draft. Another notable coaching change of course was with CNS bringing in Chris Rumph LESS THAN A DAY after Coach Davis left and Rumph and Saban are a match made in heaven, they always respected each other and it was only a matter of time before CNS had a shot and took it to reel CCR in to Ttown and the whole defensive unit is already showing CCR not just signs of respect but also a level of fear to not dissappoint him and he told them when he 1st got here all our talent should translate into a dominant unit and it didn't last year and he's here to change that. He also mentioned how he's had a double digit sacked every year at Clemson and a guy who racked up double digit sacks last year that is a top 5 pick as well. He has really motivated the DL as a whole unit and has totally and completely challenged them from staying focused by doing up downs when he didn't like the performance, to firing EVERY guy up with individual meetings in the film rooms. The one individual who has grown the most so far is Ed Stinson, CCR personally singled him out and told him a few weeks ago if he gained weight he'd let him have a shot at starting DE in the Spring, he watched every practice and film we had of the scrimmages singling out Stinson and told him he felt like he could be that impact guy coming off the end even in the 3-4 scheme with his speed and strength. The biggest hurdle he's climbing right now is playing the gaps right and being aware of the play instead of turning into a heat seeking QB missle on every play. We really see something special in Stinson and feel like he'll be a major contributor this year and hopefully put up some sack numbers. The absolute leader of the group is Josh Chapman and he's really trying to help the younger guys come along, CCR personally challenged him as well to be the "daddy" so to speak in a role like Rolando had in 2009 to keep everyone focused and ready, CCR even feels like with footwork drills he's been working him through he could also contribute on the end when Jesse, Quinton or one of the bigger DT's comes in. There was a whole lot of speculation about Jesse Williams before he got on campus and after he arrived, then amazingly he slimmed down to a svelt (for him anyway) 319, but there was a major reason, that's pretty much the same wt Dareus was able to play both NG and end at and that's the ultimate goal since he's a lot more quick and athletic than we realized when he first got here. He's raw for a DT coming out of JuCo, but physically is so put together and is such an animal at the point of attack and getting out of blocks and bullrishing guys it's hard to tell since all film and even action with shorts on in 1on1's he's just been dominant. There are several plays on his JuCo film that he pushed the OC all the way back until he fell out of the way and sometimes into the QB. His arms and hands are massive as well and he's so athletic with the initial burst and followthrough on swim move it's just working as well on his footwork and his football IQ reading and dissecting plays it's interesting to see since he started late and the type of football was different in Australia, it's very elementary things that if he gets down and understands he'll be a dominant DL in the SEC. The absolute shocker to a lot of people is Quinton Dial & I'm gonna go out on a limb here but he showed up instantly and has looked in all his skills footwork motor like a guy who's an SEC vet coming in from JuCo. Very impressive size and frame and really knows how to use it already a CCR favorite because of his work ethic really nothing else to say, expecting major things out of him as well this year. Another guy who's grown leaps and bounds this year is Adrian Hubbard he's another guy CCR really likes and his frame is still a little bit small but he's working still on beefing it up to playing size. He's tall and lanky right now LoL but has a lot of upside great footwork and explosion off snap a great tackler just needs to work on upper body strength and how to use it and arm and hand movement as well. Darrington Sentimore is a guy you're gonna see a lot of this year as a DT especially in a 4 man front. He's elevated his game and worked out the kinks he had with footwork pretty well and already has the ability to be a major contributor, just needed a little kick in th butt which he of course got from CCR. The DL as a whole is so ridiculous right now. Brandon Moore is another guy who is finally looking healthy and looking like he is gonna factor this year in rotation great motor a little raw technique wise but he's really working hard to learn what he needs. Luther Davis is another leader that CCR really challenged to step up and be a vocal leader this year and EARN his PT, CCR has been working on his footwork and getting to the QB and it's a DRASTIC difference to see him getting motivated since he was a little bit of a coaches fav with coach Bo his former coach (he babied him a little bit) and now he's really being challenged and we'll see if he comes through.

Man whew lots of stuff I'll go ahead an post so y'all can read and post the next group as soon as I get done with it
