Still no score with JSU batting in the 5th. This is a real pitchers duel. There have only been two hits, both by Bama.

Traina strikes out three in the top of the 5th. She has 12 K's out of 15 outs so far. Bama bats need to wake up and score some runs.

Bama wins 3-0.

Traina gets my vote for Player of the Game. She had a no hitter going into the 7th and gave up a single. She pitched a one hit shutout with 14 k's. Great pitching performance.

A good weekend for the girls going 4-0. A good start to the season.

Jackie Traina pitched a great game.  Couldn't believe we scored only 3 runs on the worst team in the tournament when we had run ruled some better teams.  Oh well, a win is a win.  If the bats are gona go to sleep it's good that it happens in a game where your pitcher pitched a shutout.
