CBSsports.com is reporting that Tennessee has decided to end Bruce Pearl’s tenure as the school’s men’s basketball coach because of NCAA violations detailed in a notice of allegations received last month.

A formal announcement is expected in the next 24 hours.

Pearl first gained national acclaim in 2005 when he led Wisconsin-Milwaukee of the Horizon League to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.

Can't say I'm surprised. When the AD does not know what is going to happen while your team is in the Dance, then that can't be a good sign. Wonder if Hamilton gets the ax.
