Whew! This will take some work getting out with a "W". 65% shooting won't hold up. JG back in the 2nd will help but who knows how he'll shoot after sitting the 1st half. Keep up the pressure and make them work for every shot. TM shooting 50% and I think, 2 for 3 outside the stripe. CAG wants this win bad.

It's like everything they throw up goes in. What is Bama, about 3-15 on 3's? Every time they go inside they get called for an offensive foul. Only 1 of those looked legit to me. CAG will need to leave JG in, no matter his foul situation for the rest of the game.

Well, apparently Georgetown hurt their feelings last week. I can't watch anymore of this.

I've been listening to the game on Jox and the Tide finally showing some energy and D in the 2nd half. Dayton still hitting 3's. 63-53 Dayton.

We MUST stop their 3-point shooting  from here till the end of the game.

Dayton shot the lights out. 60%/50%. But who would have dreamed Bama would shoot 50% from the floor and lose?

11 point run in 2nd was a thing of beauty. But Dayton was as well conditioned as the Tide and never wore down. They always have good basketball teams. The A10 has an AQ berth but they are often in the bubble team discussion.

Well, we have the same probelm we have talked about for YEARS. We can not shot the 3 and we can not stop the other team from hitting the 3. We lost to Georgetown & Dayton for that reason. It ain't going to get any easier with games against Kansas State, Georgia Tech, & Oklahoma State coming up.

^^^ Yeah. By the time kids reach college you cannot really teach or practice shooting enough to make a difference. You can make the bad days not so bad or the good days maybe a little better, but the best you can hope for is a little consistency. So improving a teams overall shooting has to be done by recruiting and unfortunately that is a drawn out process. We have made strides and that will continue. As long as we can keep the "we suck" or "they stink" people away from the players.
