  He needs a call from Nick Saban, the love of a good woman, and most importantly, some Jesus up in his life. 

I like him still and I wish better for him.  I wish a more experienced player would mentor him or something because I think he's a good kid who could use that.

Did the Decatur PD call the newspaper before going to arrest him?

The media are ambulance chasers. They have scanners so they know what the po-po are up to.

I have 4 scanners. A Bearcat and 3 Unidens.

My son and I go to NASCAR races. We scan the drivers and NASCAR Officials. We have 2 sets of headphones with microphones ( Racing Electronics) connected to a common walkie talkie radio with microphones so we can talk to each other at loud racetracks.

We take two scanners and two walkie talkies, so when one of us gets up and goes to bathroom or get something to eat we can still communicate and still scan race signals.

Push to talk button on side of earphones.

The Bearcat is an older police scanner stationary. Works great but the more advanced electonics digital signals used by the State and other agencies they hide their transmissions.

1 Uniden scanner I use is portable hand held.

There is a website called RadioReference.com

Just go to that site and pick out what agencies you want to scan and download them to laptop and connect a USB cord to scanner and put in frequencies.

Same way with NASCAR every year, just upload the new frequencies to scanners because of car driver changes. Or just go to a race and they will import new file into your scanner for 5 bucks!

I am truly disappointed in his actions.  I tend to hold Bama players to a higher standard.  I know this is my problem, but I do.

When RO signed with Bama there was some concern with his character. He ran with a bad crowd. I go to church with his high school coach, Jere Adcock, and he told me a while back that the best thing that could happen to him is to leave Decatur and never come back. He was involved in a shooting in Decatur last year. He needs to grow up and understand the opportunity God has given him to play in the NFL.

I thought of that as well. Seemed the arrest (by one account) was made after the next day interview with victim.  Also the potentially barner cop had time to go change ugly shirts. Are you both sure the arrest was made last night? If so, please explain the abundance of daylight. TIA
