Reported about 9PM last night and in the PSU student paper just after midnight (Thursday morning):

Quote
That headline is a snippet from Penn State’s official release, announcing to the world what had previously been reported.

Joe Paterno is out as the Nittany Lions’ head coach.  Out after 46 years and 409 wins.  And after a child-sex abuse scandal involving a former assistant that’s left many more questions than answers.

Here’s the school’s press release announcing that Tom Bradley, who was on Paterno’s staff in 2002, will guide the Nittany Lions through the remainder of their 2011 slate:

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. November 9, 2011 – As announced by The Pennsylvania State University Board of Trustees Wednesday night, Tom Bradley will assume head coaching duties for the Penn State football team for the remainder of the 2011 season, replacing long-time head coach Joe Paterno...

Who is Tom Bradley?

Quote
Serving under then defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky, Bradley coached the defensive backs, linebackers, defensive ends, and special teams. Bradley then became defensive coordinator after Sandusky's retirement in 1999. In addition to his role with the defense at Penn State, Bradley has been a highly successful recruiter for the Nittany Lions. Coach Bradley served as the lead recruiter for Nittany Lions such as Shane Conlan, Alan Zemaitis, and Justin King. Bradley has coached many All-American and all Big Ten standouts including, LaVar Arrington, Paul Posluszny, and David Macklin.

Well the coach can't play, the players have to do that. If they want to let this sad, sick actions of the DC of years ago, mess them up then they won't win. I spell this name with sadness, sandusky, is going to get his just reward not by mans' law but by Gods' Justice. The things he is accused of are an Abomination in Gods' eyes. RTR!

How can Mike McQueary be on the Penn State sideline on Saturday? Not even an administrative leave/suspension?
