I just watched Mark May on College Football Live and he was a man very upset and furious man. RTR!
Isn't May a Pitt grad? Close enough. If Pitt guys haven't assaulted young boys, they were at least considering it.

BTW, my prediction that Sandusky would say he was abused as a boy has already proved out.

Finally the national conversation has risen to prosecuting JoPa. Not whether or not he should finish the year coaching. I say PSU should ban Paterno from ever stepping on campus again. Sound harsh?

PSU branding is shot to hell--no one will want to wear a "pedaphile U" t-shirt or cap.

ADs around the country will be hesitant to play PSU. LOL-worrying about PSU fans putting a hand on your leg during the game. Subconscious guilt by association. Who is not glad our series is over with PSU?

Recruiting is over- you should be brought up on child abuse charges yourself if you leave a PSU coach alone with your kid.

Hiring a PSU grad? --right off the bat I see an initial distraction with the PSU jokes that will undoubtedly occur. Given two job candidates of equal qualifications, I'm taking the non-pedaphile U grad.

Contributions-- am I in a huge hurry to send money to a school that has made me the laughing stock of party jokes?

Is this the song game thread?

Former Penn St. Assistant Coach, accused of assaulting children, could face charges in San Antonio - Preliminary inquiry has begun.

The former assistant Penn State football coach who is accused of sexually assaulting a handful of children could face more criminal charges in San Antonio.

In a statement to 1200 WOAI, Police Sgt. Chris Benaviedes says they can't stand silent if there are allegations of a crime.

"We are investigating the possibility that an offense may have happened while here in San Antonio," he wrote.

Jerry Sandusky is accused of taking "Victim 4" to the 1999 Alamo Bowl.  That accuser, now 27, testified he was listed as a member of the Sandusky family party for the 1999 Alamo Bowl.

When the boy resisted his advances, Sandusky threatened to send him home from the Alamo Bowl, the report said.

Bexar County First Assistant District Attorney Cliff Herberg tells 1200 WOAI news, any investigation would be an uphill climb

well if they don't take it seriously in Pennslvania, you can always count on Texans to fry somebody.  I know, I live here.  These people do NOT play.

I have not seen much about the PSU GA, Mike McQueary, and his reluctance to stop a crime in progress. This board has focused primarily on Paterno, the AD, PSU President, and of course Sandusky.  The GA evidently saw a (at least statutory) rape in progress and failed to act. The story is, he waited until the next morning to go see Paterno at his house. Then, as I understand, related it to Paterno as "something of a sexual nature".

Could he have walked in, thought it was consensual, and decided it could wait. My first thought is that the Crimson Tide Athletic Department is hallowed ground, and if I saw THAT would HAVE to speak up, even if it were a man and a woman. Were these incidents so commonplace, that the GA had second (first) thoughts about interrupting?

Then McQueary tells Paterno. As I said earlier, does Sandusky fatigue come into play?  Does Paterno say to himself, "I'm just going to report it. I'm tired of trying to talk to Jerry about it."?

Bottom line going forward. All the fans or students squawking about McQueary are doing (JMO), in pointing at McQueary being allowed on the sidelines, is justifying the horrible judgement of Paterno, by pointing at worse judgement in McQueary.

Let me correct your misconception. A 10 year old can not give consent, so there is no statutory rape, it's rape, period. In Alabama, that's a Class A felony, the highest type of felony, except for capital murder, which is for a death penalty offense.

Thanks. I was trying to minimize it, to give this creep (McQueary) the most benefit of the doubt as possible, to make my point.

That's what I love about Texas. They are zapping 20-30 lowlifes every year, with no apologies.

the Madden guy that was in the pimping the kids story is tweeting that as long as
McQ is on the staff PSU can keep him quite , when/if he is out they are worried he will talk .
also that McQ's dad should be a major good source of info since the dad witnessed the
McQ and JP conversion about the sandusky shower incident

McQueary and the rest of the Paterno crowd will be history pretty soon.

I hope Sundusky lives a long time in prison.

According to the criminal complaint filed last week, former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky faces a maximum of 460 years in jail if he is found guilty of all the sexual abuse offenses he has been accused of.

Yep, now that Sandusky is facing charges of child rape by San Antonio officials, maybe he'll just get erased and Penn State can get back to football.

Things at Penn St. will not be as easily erased. CBS (Verne) couldn't let it go that our RBs Dad was in prison on a non-violent offense. You and I may not live long enough...

True, but the big, electric eraser at Texas would help.  Or is theirs intravenous?

Lethal injection. Interesting news for Mr. Sandusky:

I think officials in Pennsylvania should also be cross-referencing missing children and unexplained murders of children (boys) with Sandusky's schedules.
