To the surprise and the shock of this Alabama fan, Trent Richardson said today on the Dan Patrick Show that he is in no rush to head to the NFL.

“I have no reason to go anywhere right now,” Richardson said. “I’m not worried about getting to the League. The League’s not going anywhere.”

Julio received  a 4 year $16 million dollar deal. I imagine TR could get more.

Coach Saban has taught him well, a very good answer for the media. But I do think he will leave after this year for family reasons.

I think he really wants to finish his education. He's a very smart young man.  I hope he stays and gets the degree.

Bingo!! He's gone after this year. Why risk injury when he will easily make what Julio does?

He's carrying a 3.26 GPA, I wonder how far he is from graduating.

Probably answered that way because he is FOCUSED on the big game.

What might happen this summer is the opposite of focus.

It would, but he will be a first round pick. He is a bright guy but he could always come back and finish his degree. Too much to lose to chance it. Besides, it will be fun to watch him kick some butt in the NFL.

Shaun Alexander came back for his senior year when everyone thought he was a sure bet to go pro after his junior year so you never know. With that being said I think he will enter the draft. You can't blame him. That would financially secure his future.
