Wait. What? Better than Bo? Better than Herschel?...

...and if he stays 4 years (good luck with that).

Richardson will be remembered as a great and will make millions in the NFL.  If he hadn't been behind Mark Ingram for two years though I think he would have proven himself to be one of the greatest of all time in all of college football, not just at Alabama.

It would be pretty hard for a running back at Bama to be the best running back ever, team concept comes into play and that's how you get 14 NCs.

Mark Ingram was a very good running back for Bama and so is Trent Richardson but I couldn't say one is better than the other.

Yeah, I'm not going to start trashing HTWMI before his cleats have even cooled off. BATR wouldn't either.

Good point, WV.  Let's face it, CNS played this pair masterfully.  And don't forget how well TR played last year when MI was hurt, and how much we missed TR when he was out at season's end (painful-memory icon inserted here).

I'll bet they learned a lot from each other too.  MI was 'Mr. Inside' long before TR played that role well.  I'll bet the weight-room exchanges were interesting too.

Without injuries, perhaps.  But Richardson played hurt last year, and I don't think he would have been as dominant as he has this year.  Also, his game has improved, especially his quickness in hitting the hole.
