Johyn Rhys Plumlee of Ole Miss and Caleb Williams of Oklahoma enter the transfer portal. The portal is getting ridiculous.

I've always thought he was a good kid. That's not really the issue though, Preacher. Every single player in college football now has unrestricted free agency. That is the problem.

This was a surprise to me, especially since Plumlee is a baseball player too.  He played a lot of baseball for OM last season.

Caleb might be in Oxford next year.  Kiffin needs an experienced QB.  The freshman who played against Baylor was good, but Kiffin is ready to move OM up, and this young guy can't do it yet.

Good point. I would think Kiffin would jump all over him. The kid is obviously a huge talent. The question is, would Caleb really want to go there, knowing that Ole Miss doesn't have the reciever talent that Oklahoma, Bama, tOSU and some of the other top tier programs have?

I'd think Ole Miss was a likely spot for Caleb until Jeff Lebby left for Oklahoma.  I'm sure Lebby will try to convince Caleb to stay at OK, but reportedly (from his father) Caleb doesn't see OK as a pacle where he can grow as a QB.  Certainly Kiffin is a top-tier QB coach, but I agree that his receivers aren't top tier.

LSU would be a good fit for Caleb, except their QB (Myles Brennan) was enticed to stay at LSU after entering the transfer portal.  Hard to believe LSU would back-stab Myles with a transfer now.

According to 247 Sports, Drew Sanders follows Tyson and Billingsey to the portal. Billingsley probably got reamed for his  poor blocking and got his feelings hurt.

Here's a list of Bama players that are now in the portal.  Don't know that this is the complete list.

Deadline for declaring for NFL draft is coming up soon. (Don't know the exact date.)  Gotta wonder if CNS will be looking at who's left in the portal to plug a couple of more holes, like maybe on the OL,

Not surprised some Bama players are in the quitter hole due to talent that abounds. I am disappointed that Drew is going - he played well and I know he would be part of a good OLB rotation. As for Billingsley, sometimes you have addition by subtraction...

Drew Sanders also caught me by surprise.  These days recruiting has to start on your own roster every year.

Well if they don't bleed crimson they need to leave and make room for those who do. RTR!

Jaylon Waddle is in the transfer portal. We are losing LB's but why are these not committed to anything they sign up for? RTR!
