Quote
Bo Nix’s 2021 season has come to an abrupt end. The Auburn quarterback suffered a broken ankle in the team’s loss to Mississippi State, per Cam Gaskins of ABC Columbia.

Well I for one don't like to see injuries on anybody. We all know what it feels like to have good players injured. Pray he makes a recovery. RTR!

Injuries are a part of the game, but nobody wants star players injured.  Every team knows that pain.

But Bo Nix spent his career at Boogerville running in circles and taking hits, which became his signature.  His fans loved his toughness and willingness to take chances.  And that was his finish.

His career at Auburn as their starting QB ain't over.  He has three years under his belt with two more years of eligibility to play thanks to Covid.  I doubt he will be a 5 year starter but I don't see him leaving for the NFL after this season, especially with how it ended for him.

Agreed. I don't think his draft stock is too high and he would benefit from another year. Hate that he is injured - wouldn't wish that on anyone. I met Bo last year before I officiated a Central Phenix City playoff game. Seemed to be a nice kid.

Yes, but Malzahn is the reason he is where he is today. Not half of what he could have been. Malzahn just gave him 2 more years of high school ball.

I wonder if Malzahn is still gonna play golf with CNS? RTR!

Nix has not been Auburn's problem, IMO.   Their OL is not good.   They've struggled to find a running game, Nix runs for his life, and his receivers (not a particularly talent bunch) drop a lot of balls.   IMO, I think Nix has played well considering.

However, all the Auburn fans I know believe he's the problem and have been calling for his replacement all year.
