Team came out thinking they could be beat Mercer without putting in the preparation. They were not focused. It was easy to see why CNS was concerned about the poor practices last week. Still, they played good enough to get a 38-0 before Mercer scored. We played a lot of people.

I am not sure if it was because we were playing Mercer or if it is Covid related but it was a very small crowd. I estimate about 70,000. About the size of most A Day games. The fans that were there were uninspired. I think that was because of the opponent. Traffic was light, activity before the game on the Quad was different, very few food trucks and vendors. Everything was a little off. I hope it changes before two weeks when we host Southern Miss and certainly by 10/2 when we play Ole Miss.

Best game day improvement. Road construction from B'ham to T'town is complete.

We better have some leaders step up and take charge. Henry ToTo was the only constant name I heard yesterday there may be more but it was a terrible 2nd half. RTR!

Anyone know anything about why Jobe and Armour-Davis aren't playing?

Nagging injuries and did not dress out. CNS said the injuries were not serious and should be back next week against Florida.

Will Anderson knee injury is not serious. They are going to run tests today to be safe but he is expected to play at Florida.

Are there any leaders on this team?  Did any guys step up last week and set an example of practicing hard?  Was anyone in a position to hold other guys accountable for not practicing hard?

To To may be one leader, but it takes more than one.

I just hate to see injuries come when we are playing lesser opponents. This is why I am against such small time programs. But, now that is just me. RTR!

I agree, Preacher. What's the point of playing pushovers? Last year we played none and won every game. Leave it to weaker teams who want to add easy wins to boost their records.
