We're out of sync right now for sure, and we know Herb, Bruner and likely others arent 100%.

I do think we are a bit overrated.  But if we are truly anywhere in the top 20 teams in the country, it's the best Bama team in 15 years or more.  We complain about ugly road conference wins this year, but for many years we were lucky to win 1 or 2 SEC road games a year.  We'll have a winning record on the road this year.

An ugly win is still a win, and a regular season conf championship to go with it.  Congrats to the team & coaches.

Lots to fix as we finish out the season.  Gotta get back to that mid season form.  The way we're playing now, not gonna go far in either tourney.

But let's savor the moment.  It's been a long time....

Definitely nice to win the SEC after so much disappointment the last 20 years, I just don’t want it to end on a sour note. I don’t think we will return to midseason form because most everyone is playing us the same way which is too slow the game down, play physical in the paint, and drive the ball to the basket. The key for us is we have to start hitting more 3 pointers which puts more pressure on the other team’s defense.

Always nice to get a SEC road win. They have been hard for us to get in the past. Also nice to win the Regular Season Championship. It has been a long time since we were able to hang a new banner in the Coleman rafters.

Our RPI is #4 and our NET is #9. Both very good. We are being projected as a #2 Seed in the tournament.

We will get a double bye in the SEC Tournament so our first game will be on Friday. If the tournament was today we would play the UK/Miss St winner in our first game.

IMO the difference in the game was rebounding. We won the rebounding battle 45-40 but more important we won offensive rebounds 17-11. We also beat them in fast break points 19-6.

Good teams hit their free throws. We were 15-17.

We hit 7 three pointers. Rojas hit a big one at the end of the game. Miss St was 1-12 from behind the arc.

I noticed it was a big crowd out to welcome the team home. That was great to see. RTR!

MSU is a poor 3 point shooting team is I don’t get while they tried 12 of them. We were 7/28 in 3’s for 25%, which is poor.

THE GOOD

We won & clinched the SEC Title
Tide 36 bench points, MSU 5
Tide 19 fast break points, MSU 6
Tide 15/17 FT, MSU 10/17
Quinerly 19 points, Shackelford 15
Herb Jones 14 rebounds
Tide 17 off. rebounds, MSU 11

THE BAD

MSU 17 second chance points, Tide 10
MSU 36 points in paint, Tide 26

AND THE UGLY

Tide 21/65 FG 32.3%

Tide scored 64 points-Tide is a fast paced run & shoot team that needs to score 75-85 points a game to win regularly
