The Southwestern Athletic Conference moved its football season to the spring, the league announced late Monday afternoon. Thatís monumental news for many reasons, and one of them is that Birminghamís biggest football game of the year will not be played in 2020. The Magic City Classic is skipping this cursed calendar iteration, and Alabama State and Alabama A&M will meet at Legion Field next April...

And yet, Alabama HS football is planning on having a regular season, and starting on time.

Interesting... So could a high school player that may be planning to go to a SWAC school to play football play both his high school season and his first year of college football all in the same school year? Or even possibly play three seasons of football in 15 months? High school (fall of 2020), 1st year of college (spring of 2021), then 2nd year of college (fall of 2021)

I am not worried about these small leagues. I do however, look forward to seeing how the Power 5 conferences handle this year. RTR!
