Here are some notes heading into the game:

— An MRI confirmed that forward Javian Davis’ knee injury from Wednesday is minor. It’s just a bone bruise. It’s doubtful he’ll be available for the game against Kansas State according to Nate Oats, but he’ll likely be back for the Crimson Tide’s game against LSU on Wednesday.

Led by Petty and Kira Lewis, the Tide enters the weekend ranked third nationally in scoring with an average of 83.1 points per game. The team ranks sixth nationally in three-pointers made per game with an average of 10.5. Oats will be looking for less turnovers against Kansas State, though. Alabama had 25 turnovers during its 77-62 win over Vanderbilt earlier in the week.

I think the suspended players are James Love and Antonio Gordon. Neither will be missed much. Love has only played in 1 game for 2 minutes. In those two minutes he got in a fight and received an 8 game suspension. He made the most out of that playing time. Gordon is a reserve averaging 19 minutes, 5 points and 4 rebounds per game.
