He made a great statement to that effect.  Much thanks to family, fellow players, coaches, etc.

Thanks for everything over the last 3 years.  Best of luck in the future.

Alabama will be fine without him.  It's MUCH better for the incoming recruits, especially Bryce Young, and for Mac Jones.  And it opens a space for late recruits.

I am thankful for all that Tua has done for Bama.  IMO, he has far to much to lose by coming back.  I know that the university has a YUGE insurance policy on him that would pay him if he were to get injured again.  However, if he can get healthy and get with a team with a good Oline that can protect him I think he can make a lot more $$ than the policy would pay him... I am glad he is gone for that reason.  Hopefully, either Mac, Taila, or Young can fill his shoes results-wise.

Thanks for the memories, Tua, and godspeed.

He won a NC for us.  Without him, I don't think we win that NC game vs. UGA.

Teams that draft high typically don't have a good O line. He'll need another insurance policy.

Yes Chech, the 2nd and 26 play will probably be my favorite play in Bama history, or at least right there with Van Tiffin's 52 yd FG against the barn. They call Tua a once in a generation QB. Maybe more like once in a lifetime.

Yes, Tua writ his name in crimson flame right there.  One for the history books.  He's done his duty, played injured, I understand his decision and didn't expect anything different.

Tua signed with the Lee Steinberg agency this afternoon. Lee Steinberg is the agent that the movie 'Jerry Maguire' was loosely based on.

I think the Dolphins will draft Tua with the fifth pick. They have a boatload of draft picks this year, and can draft to support Tua if they do choose him.  They won’t be competing for anything next year most likely (though the AFC East may be wide open if Tom Brady leaves the Patriots), so they could sit him, let him get healthy and learn the playbook then be ready to go in 2021.

I think Tua must have some assurances that’s he’s going to go top 5, because dropping to the mid to late first round would result in losses of tens of millions in guaranteed money.
