If Auburn doesn't, LSU will.

I'm not sure it will help that much though. We won't be a conf. champ, and will have an uphill climb to stay ahead of a one loss Oregon or Utah or Oklahoma conf. champ. Baylor and Minnesota are currently undefeated also. Stranger things have happened though.

The only CFP ranking that matters is the last one.

Bama has to beat MSU soundly on Sat so the we look like a championship team.  Gotta dominate the game in all phases.  An "average" win is not good enough.

Then we gotta hope Barn beats UGA, or at least makes them look bad.  Then we gotta beat the slop out of the Barn in Jordan Hare.

As said, LSU will (should) beat UGA.

If we do all that we can, then we give the committee a reason to put us at #4.  Not gonna be easy but it's possible.

But it starts with MSU this week.

It is going to be really tough to dominate in all phases with our place kicker...   Lips Sealed

I just hope the team is focused on beating MSU next week. Then WCU. Then West Georgia. After that, let the chips fall where they may.

I don't think Oklahoma has a chance after losing to K State, and scraping by Iowa St. Ok is currently outside looking in at #10.

We know Minnesota will not win out, neither will Baylor.

The biggest obstacle we have to face is the Pac 12 teams. Oregon is right behind us at #6 and Utah is #7. Providing they don't lose a game between now and when they meet for the Pac 12 championship, the winner of that game is likely to leapfrog us because of winning their conference.

Our biggest obstacle is not playing in the SECCG.  We sit home while other teams play.  Even if we're #4 before that, I don't see us staying at #4 with a home loss and a poor schedule (barring upsets in the conference championships).

That's my point. We have no way of improving our position, and with our SOS, look for the Pac 12 champ to be in over us.

Three weeks left in the regular season.  As Bama fans we know a lot can happen in the last few weeks.  This team needs to show everyone they deserve a bid.  Otherwise, even in we do get in it might be short lived.
