Tide injury report: Status of C.J. Mosley, Eddie Lacy uncertain

"C.J. Mosley will do some things on the practice field this week," Alabama coach Nick Saban said today at his news conference. "I don't know where he'll be by the end of the week.

"Eddie will probably be in a boot for a couple days, but we'll make a determination on him later in the week as well."

Lacy (turf toe) was limited to five carries and one catch at Florida. he ran for 32 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown run.

It would be a great week for Jalston Fowler to introduce himself to the SEC, he needs about 20-25 carries Saturday.

At the game Saturday night when Jalston got in, it was a hoot to hear their stadium announcer almost sound disgusted when Jalston would run for 6 yds, 8 yds, 7 yds. Dude is a beast who can knock some LBs in the mouth and wear em out quick!

Kirby Smart told us that if Jalston would learn to block like he runs the football that he would be a beast. I think it's time they gave him a little slack in his lead rope and let that horse run for awhile.

You've seen in Medievel times they had a great big device on wheels that they would roll up to the gates of the fortress. A great big log on ropes would swing into the gates until the gates were battered in. That is Jalston Fowler. Hope this helps.
