Braves lost last night giving up 4 runs in the top of the 9th.  They managed to scratch out 3 runs of their own in the bottom of the 9th but came up short 7-6.   Cry

Doc's Dodgers blanked the Nationals 6-0...

They did make some trades to try and fix the pen.  However, "help" depends on which team you are talking about.  For Braves opponents the "help" is fantastic.  For Braves fans the "help" is awful...

Braves won game 3 tonight.  They trailed almost the entire game 1-0 but in the top of the 9th they scored 3 to go up 3-1 and that is how it ended.  With 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th the bats finally started to working for the Braves. I love it when they win but hate it when they don't hit until late...

I'll take it too!!! I didn't get to watch the game, but unless we got a complete game from our starter, that means the bullpen came through. Maybe there's hope yet?

Soroka pitched 7 innings - gave up two hits, and the run came after a double and two sacrifices in the second inning. He retired 17 straight batters after the double.

The bullpen played with fire in the bottom of the eighth but got out of it. Melancon gave up a double in the bottom of the 9th.

This ^  And the Braves' bats didn't arrive until 2 out in the top of the 9th when we started getting some hits.  Better late than never but I'd rather we get more hits and runs earlier...

End of 7th:

The Braves are killing me.  They lead 4-3, but left the bases loaded the past 2 innings.  In the 7th they stranded a leadoff triple!

Going to have to earn it with Ricky's bullpen.
