Don't be surprised if OSU jumps OKLA after this weekend.

I thought it could potentially go the other way (had OSU been #5, Okla might could have jumped them with a convincing win over Tejas).  I don't see any potential for OSU jumping Oklahoma assuming they both win.  How impressive can a win over Northwestern be?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Oklahoma AND OSU lose this weekend...Granted though, the OSU loss would be the bigger surprise...

Texas is 7 spots higher than Northwestern in the rankings, so it does seem unlikely that tOSU would jump OK if they both win.  I'm not sure even a big win by tOSU would jump them over a last second win by OK.

POLITICS.  I'm guessing the Big 10 has more representation on the committee than the Big 12.

Much to my surprise, I think they've pretty much kept the politics out of it, to date. Let's hope it stays that way.

If they were going to move tOSU ahead of OK, they would have done it after tOSU had that big win v. Michigan.  (OSU had just cremated the committee's No. 4 team).  Don't see how they can justify it now.

They dropped TCU out of the top 4 for no apparent reason a few years ago. However, in this case, putting Okie at 5 seems to indicate they see them as the better team. OU’s loss is better than OSU’s, and OU has looked better than OSU for most of the season. I’d be shocked if OSU gets in if they both win.

If/When Georgia loses then OK beats Texas and tOSU beats NW closely or at all I think OK slides in the 4th spot cause the committee thinks OK has a better shot of knocking us off than tOSU. RTR!

I really don't think OK and OSU are comparable.

OK lost to No. 14 Texas on a last second FG.

OSU lost by 29 points to unranked 6-6 Purdue.

I am to the point where I am hoping that UGA, Oklahoma, and OSU all three lose making the committee decide whether to jump UCF over Michigan for the 4 seed or not.  I then hope that since UCF wins their conference championship and Michigan doesn't play for it that they will be given the chance to play Bama (as they think they want) in the first CFP game... SC would finally get to win the score pickem I believe...
