#4 Michigan lost to #10 OSU, #7 LSU lost to #22 aTm, #8 Washington State lost to #16 Washington.  I expect Michigan to drop only two or three spots allowing UGA and Oklahoma to move up to #4 and #5 respectively. I think Michigan will probably be #7 with OSU leap-frogging over UCF to the #6 spot.  UCF lands at #8 while UF moves back into the Top 10 at #9 and Penn State at #10.

So I'm guessing the Top 10 will actually look something like this when the polls are announced:

1.  Bama

2.  Clemson

3.  Notre Dame

4.  Georgia

5.  Oklahoma

6.  OSU

7. Michigan

8.   UCF

9.  Florida

10. Penn State

Thoughts?

The only important spots are 5 and 6 this week, between OK and tOSU.  (I think either could beat ND.)  The committee could leap tOSU over OK, but they shouldn't.

UCF might jump Michigan.  They're not going to put Michigan in the playoffs if OSU and OK both lose this week.

I could see the committee doing something stupid like putting Ohio St at 4 and then flip flopping them after Oklahoma beats Texas for another quality win.  That would really piss off Ohio St.  Regardless, if they keep Oklahoma ahead this week, there's no way Ohio St can possibly pass them if Oklahoma beats Texas.  No one is going to care about them beating Northwestern 55-10.

Also agree about UCF over Michigan.  They will move them as high as they can just to placate them. Plus there's a good chance UCF will lose to Memphis this weekend.

That would be sweet.  Memphis had them beat in the regular season buy UCF pulled out the win on a last second play if I remember correctly...

I didn't watch it, but I do remember Memphis led practically the whole game and the final was 36-35.  UCF minus their dynamic QB this week, you'd think the Tigers will take it.
