What happened to Bama’s O-line after the first quarter, I didn’t get to watch the game but it sounded like they forgot how to block after the first quarter ended.

I think Mississippi State's coaches did an excellent job of making adjustments.  Also, Brown was replaced by Cotton Sr.  I don't believe that the one replacement could have made ALL the difference though.

The did a good job of stunting into some of our stretch plays for sure.

Some people may think I'm stupid, but I think our coaches may have wanted to see the team struggle a little, so we didn't counter adjust quite as much or quickly as we might normally have.

It may be silly, but I really don't think the coaches were coaching that game to see how wide of a margin we could win by.  It was a "let's get out of here as quickly as we can" kind of approach.

That seems opposite of what you said above.
Certainly we played the game like we did against Texas for the NC years ago; run out the clock as soon as we got ahead.  I'd like to see Mac Jones play, but what we saw was him handing off or aiming the ball on simple pass routes.
Our offense wasn't imaginative at all after we got a 14-pt lead.  And after MSU made their adjustments to shift toward our stretch plays, we were doomed.

Yep, totally doomed. We lost by how much? I forget.

Doomed = 1 gift TD following a muffed punt; 1 49-yd field goal (a miracle).
