Great!  I wasn't sure it had a name.  There are so many "islands" in the Hawaiian string that most people have no clue about.  I didn't either until just this week.  There are actually hundreds of islands in the roughly 1500 mile string.  Most don't even have a name I believe.

Ecred for the legwork...

I finally got around to uploading and re-sizing some of the decent pics I took in Hawaii.

This is the Kiluaea lighthouse.  It is really beautifully restored.  I didn't go down to tour it this trip but I did in 2015 when I was here.  Just incredible.

Hanalei Bay.  This is where "Puff the Magic Dragon" lives.  Can you see the dragon?

And although I don't remember the name of this waterfall, I believe it may have been used in the 70's tv show Fantasy Island.

I'm not sure what this thing is though.  Some kind of primitive communication device is what I was told.  I'm sure Chech can identify it...

Whatever it is, I found two more at the airport.  They don't seem to be all that popular now though.  Probably because no one knows what they are...

I think I'd swim to Hawaii before I'd get aboard that monster.

Why?  If it sinks you can always swim the rest of the way.
