I don't think I've seen this discussed anywhere so I started a new topic, my question is  who is number two in the West in your opinion and why and if say Texas A&M is number 2 whose number 3 how do you rank the West?

LSU went up against a UF team on the road, that has improved every week since Ky. I think they are still the #2 team in the division. I think they will lose to Ga in a close one Saturday and I still think they are the #2 team in the West. Just MHO.

Early in the season, LSU was definitely Number 2.

LSU has the tougher schedule, drawing Georgia and Florida from the east.  Aggies get USCe and KY.

But Aggies are improving every week.  At some point Aggies could be the better team.  With their easier SEC schedule, they should be ranked ahead of LSU. 

These teams play the last game of the regular season.

If they can't beat out Arkansas and Ole Miss for the 5th spot, Gus should resign out of shame and repay his salary from this year.

I think I have to wait till after we play lsu before I make a decision. Did lsu have a fluke in the loss or was Fla that much improved? I don't know. RTR!

It might be wishful thinking on my part, but I wouldn't be surprised if they lose to Ole Miss.

As you all know OM has a rabbit come out of their hat as they have done when we needed to pull out a victory to help us get into the playoff. auburn might be that little hairy subject this year. RTR!

I don't know if Auburn could score 50 points against air.  But the Ole Miss defense is not much more than air, so it will be interesting to see what happens.

Speaking of Ole Piss, between their defense, Arky's apparent improvement in the past few weeks, and the rain tonight at Oxford, that makes Arky an interesting pick.

But I just cannot bring myself to pick a team that just played Bama.
