 Angry

Tiger had a short, uphill putt, but gave away the hole and lipped out.

It was almost straight in; he'd seen his partner putt it, and still he missed.

KNUCKLEHEAD!  STOP THINKING.

Tiger isn't smiling after that miss.  That really sucked, and it'll bring in nods from the haters.  He wasted an opportunity, seemingly the theme of his play thus far in the Masters.

Tiger tugged his drive on #2 to the left, but it's long and in the left pine straw.  He's need a hook to reach the green.

Long wait on the 2nd green.  Somebody ahead screwed up.

Tiger unleashed a Bubba-like hook that stops just short of a bunker guarding the green.  Tough chip over the bunker coming...

Great chip, and nears hole it as the ball spins and draws back to the hole.  Short birdie coming...

WOOT, Tiger tapped in the 18" birdie: +3.

He has the honors for the first time in a long time.

Perfect conditions right now, albeit chilly in Augusta.

The forecast is more favorable than it appeared they'd be today.  The windy conditions that were forecast originally don't appear to be an issue today.  But there will be enough breeze to make it challenging later.

Tiger's drive on the short par-4 3rd left him in the second cut.  He muffed his first chip, and left the testy second chip well short.  Long putt coming for par...

RCB playing with Tiger; slams his putt 15-20' past the hole.

Tiger missed the par; bogey: +4.
He didn't play any of his shots well on that hole, starting with a driver (which isn't needed on #3).

4th (long par-3 hole of 233m):

Tiger nearly holes it!!  Just missed the flagstick on the roll, but stops about 10' long.

RCB rolls in his putt from behind Tiger, and shows the line.  Regardless, Tiger spends time studying the line, and almost missed left before the ball dropped a BIRDIE: +3.

Par-4 5th hole:

Tiger has a good drive (I know, call me crazy), and splits the fairway.  Just like Jamos!!

...

Another excellent iron shot by Tiger leaves the ball 13' below the hole (from 200m).

...

Good putt by Tiger on a 5' break (left to right), but it just misses; tap in for par: +3.

Par-3 6th hole (187m):

Tiger missed the green right, and will have a chip from among the patrons.

...

Excellent chip and putt for par: +3.   Applause E-Cred

Couldn't halp it. Had to play golf. Didn't play very well, but got to zip through so I don't miss the Masters. Thanks for the updates, Chech. After I eat lunch, I'll join in.

Par-4 7th hole (450m):

Tiger lost the honors to RCB, who had a great iron onto the green at 6, and got his birdie.

Tiger has a fine drive that's long, but trickles into the rough riding the fairway slope.

...

Tiger had to hit a slice around tree limbs, does it well, and the ball is onto the green, rolling right, and stops just 5-7' from the hole.

Tiger just hit an amazing approach shot.

He's feeling it now.  A birdie here would be huge.
